Renovation work at Hesketh secured

Host of the 2011 British Amateur Championship, Hesketh Golf Club in Southport have appointed Glen Golf Design to renovate their 15th Green complex. The green and surrounds had been previously renovated but the design was not in keeping with the character of the rest of the golf course and had been constructed on poor soils. GGD has been tasked with restoring the green complex and adding bunker hazards to improve the strategy of the hole.
As part of the work GGD will also carry out a survey of the golf course and note areas for potential future improvement.
